Another awesome day on the wetpan in #project86 with the annual NSW 86 BRZ Car Club motorkhanna!
How one f*** up could have cost me my car and how we can all learn from it.
Before we get started, admitting you stuffed up isn’t fun and I don’t particularly like talking about it, however I think there’s something we can all take away from this so here goes nothing.
Aus Time Attack 2022
Aus Time Attack 2022 was certainly a bit of a frustrating event for me. I went into the event with a goal in mind and couldn’t quite achieve it.
First dry run - G30-660 86
Our very first test in patchy conditions was a great way to get a feel for the speed of the car and a great first shakedown of the turbo kit.

NSW Supersprint Round 2 recap.
After a threatening week long weather forecast for torrential rain I was delighted to arrive at SMSP for round 2 of the NSW Zestino Supersprints to find clear weather.
PVS x Racefix take on SubiNats!
First off I should probably explain what Subinats is and what class we ran in. Subinats is a Supersprint/time attack event mainly catered for WRX’s and STi’s.

We’ve been running around on the previous 132kW 220Nm E85 tune from PVS for over 6 months and 10+ track days without any issue however after some intake changes I booked the car in for a check up with Tyler ahead of the 2022 season

Round 6 - NSW Supersprint #project86
Last night I popped my competitive driving cherry and made my way out to round 6 of the NSW Supersprint at Sydney Motorsport Park.

So last Tuesday saw us finally back on track after 4 months of COVID lockdowns and what a night we had!

So it’s been a little while since I did the V1 feature of #project86 and I feel like i’m about done with this stage of the car, so why not do a new feature!

Coming upto week 10 of the Sydney lockdown (8 weeks since I’ve been able to work) I thought I would update you all on some of the work that's been done on #project86
#project86 - Oil Cooler relocation.
Another productive lockdown week on the tools with #project86. If this lockdown has been good for anything it’s left me with far too much time scouring gumtree and marketplace for parts, it’s also left me a bunch of time for niggly little jobs like re mounting my oil cooler.
#project86 - E85 tune
Just over 6 weeks ago now we sent #project86 off to PVS tuning for a flex fuel tune on our SME equal length headers and HKS drop in panel filter we installed
#racefix86 (V1) - feature
I got into an 86 knowing it was a great platform with a massive following, heaps of aftermarket support and a tonne of knowledge surrounding it but I didn't understand just how capable this thing would be with basic mods around a racetrack.
Zestino 07RS review
We’ve now put 2500km and 4 trackdays on our Zestino 07RS and i’m very impressed. Not only are they fast but they are wearing alot better than people expected.
